I’ve been busy this past week with graduation, so my blogging time has been limited. Now that I am obligation free and summer vacation is alive and buzzing, I thought I’d do my first “current fixations” post.
Currently listening to:
I have a thing for ensemble casts (although Tatiana Maslany makes up more than half the cast all by herself) and well-thought out back stories, and Orange is the New Black just got released on Netflix today!
Now that graduation is over, I can finally immerse myself into these books.
Kombucha and pizza from The Luggage Room in Pasadena.
Chrissy Teigan’s long bob and Erin Wasson’s effortlessly cool aura.
Insanely cool and classic couples.
Currently inspired by:
Winona, Hudson, Coppola, Marling, Tatou, Dunst, Poots, and Shrimpton.
I am now going to go stuff my face at Orange Hill.
Brunch. Sunday brunch. Somehow this little moment, this meal, never ceases to make my insides feel warm and giddy. Maybe it’s because after you’ve slept in, you get to treat yourself to a nice hearty meal. It’s indulgence at its best. This hybrid meal, is the best of both worlds. Nothing else quite gets me like a good Sunday brunch. One of my favorite places is Pappa’s Artisanal in Old Town La Verne. Allow me to make you envious with some pictures:
My usual, Dad’s hash (I would buy the whiskey gravy by the jar if they’d let me.)
Topped it off by walking around Claremont’s Farmer’s Market, bought two heirloom tomato plants while being serenaded by the most endearing folk band. I think endearing is the word of the day. So far it has been an endearing Sunday.
