The second Sunday of every month, is always a glorious day. Why you may ask? Well, the reason being is that it’s the day where I get to walk around and haggle with intimidating vendors, buy used and smelly clothing, and fawn over odd little trinkets and old furniture. Trust me it’s much better than it sounds. It’s the Rose Bowl Flea Market! I adore flea markets but the Rose Bowl is my favorite. I never get tired of the smell of dust, kettle corn, and the wide array of quirky characters and inventory. It feels like I’ve been transported to another time and I’m on a treasure hunt. I’m the equivalent to a kid in a candy store when I’m there. I’ve missed the last few months because I’ve been so busy with school, but I received a warm return today and left with a good chunk of eclectic goodies to add to my collection.

A vintage The Who t-shirt, a vintage baseball tee/jersey, and a random t-shirt from a grumpy vendor that perfectly embodies my inexplicable and violent love for brunch.

A Mama Cass record that is reminiscent of cotton candy, two high-waisted shorts, a pair of short overalls, three ironic and amusing pins, a rope of incense composed of saffron, nagi, and red and white sandalwood, and lastly an ethereal fringe cardigan that is just dying to be worn no matter how hot it is outside.

An exceptional haul, if I do say so myself, and I do.
